How to Practice Gratitude (Implementing the WOW Method)
Nov 24, 2021How to Practice Gratitude
According to an article written by Happify - The benefits of practicing gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems.
Sounds pretty awesome, right? Especially when one small action can make you feel better.
When it comes to how to practice gratitude, we have all heard the routine of writing down 3 things you are grateful for every morning, (I use it in my planner too!), taking time to slow down, focusing on your surroundings, etc.
But today I want to introduce you to my WOW method.
Wins Of the Week.
If you follow me on IG, you know I am a huge fan of sharing our community’s wins. I truly feel like sharing in others’ success not only brings them joy but can also help you believe more in the person you are becoming.
Plus practicing gratitude (even in this practice where it will take you less than 5 minutes) has some serious benefits:
- It can make you happier. ...
- It may reduce anxiety and depression. ...
- It can encourage healthier behaviors. ...
- It might improve your physical health. ...
- It makes for better relationships. ...
- It can help with recovery.

So let’s chat WOWs.
Wins.
Of.
The.
Week.
I do this every Friday afternoon right before I am ready to wrap up work. I make a list of all the things worth celebrating (right before family pizza night) which really does bring me SO much joy. And when business brings you joy, you know you are in your sweet spot.

After I make my list, I move everything to my WOW folder. I actually have 3. One in my email where I save really nice emails I get, thank yous, or anything worth celebrating. I also have a journal which is all wins. And I save all my clients' wins (that is you) in a bubble on IG.
Viewing your WOW list often
So now whenever I am having a down day in business, I go to my WOWs and am reminded that entrepreneurship is truly experiencing all the highs and lows. But when you are in a low (we all have those days), you can now pull out your WOW list.
Speaking of WOWs, one of the things I am SUPER proud of is all the success inside our Collective Mastermind. I have created a community where not only do you learn the business tactics you need to grow and scale, BUT incorporate accountability and consistency on a customized level that I have not seen in any other program. Clients have gone from zero to 6 figures, started podcasts, launched programs, been featured in major publications, and most importantly, felt more aligned and experienced more joy in their business than ever. Talk about a WOW moment.
Can you imagine 6 months of someone helping you and guiding you on your strategy and then supporting you each week to make sure you follow through? The outcome is magic. And your WOW list will be out of this world. It is So magical that 85% of our mastermind members in the last year have renewed or continued on. This means there are only a number of spots left for our 2022 cohort.
I hope you can feel the joy and excitement I have when I talk about how easy this process is and how important it is to celebrate your wins every single week.
It is so easy. And so fun. And something that is sure to bring you joy this season.
Hit me up in the DM’s. What is your WOW this week?
